I have learned that in addition to the artistic side of being an actor, there is an extremely important business aspect as well.    I believe it is imperative that students be taught the basic business skills required to have a successful career.   Most actors work for many years to develop the networking skills required to build and maintain a career. Too many graduates leave college only to find they have no idea how to get started or how to survive as they begin to work their way into the marketplace.  They end up giving up far too quickly.   I want to teach them the basics of our Business so they will have a skill set to help them launch their careers.
